Comments about Bower Deluxe Pro Flash Bracket:
I purchased this bracket to use on my Canon 7D for a wedding. This is the only bracket I own and have ever used. I am very pleased with it. It is sturdy and fits the camera perfect. I would highly recommend this bracket to anyone in the market for one. Only downside is it is a little on the heavy side once you get both the flash and camera on. I am sure there are better brackets out there but for the price you really can't beat this bracket.

Comments about Bower Deluxe Pro Flash Bracket:
I'm really disappointed that this bracket doesn't fit my DSLR w/ a battery grip attached. I wish they wouldn't advertise this as a "Pro" bracket, when many "Pros" use a grip attached to their camera, or a full size camera.
Other than that huge flaw, the bracket is sturdy, but is quite stiff and cumbersome to operate when moving the flash to different angles. The little bracket that holds the flash on top doesn't seem very sturdy, as the flash is held in place by nothing more than a small screw tightened against it.
I highly suggest you look at other models before purchasing.

Comments about Bower Deluxe Pro Flash Bracket:
This bracket is stable and seems well constructed, but the hinge system on the bottom is not a necessary tool. I removed it. It took some doing, and I know the designers would be ticked, but now it actually does work with my DSLR and battery pack. With the hinge attached my camera will not fit.

I spent a minute trying to decide what to get and I am very glad I got this one. Easy to move camera and flash around to switch orientation and very well built. The grip is great too and the price for this quality is even better!

Comments about Bower Deluxe Pro Flash Bracket:
I used this on my 7D with Pearstone Universal Duo TTL Off-Camera Flash Cord (3') and two Canon 550EX flashes. I wanted one of the two flashes up and to the left so I had to unscrew the bracket shoe and flip it to the other side, which was easy enough. If used with only one flash in the default state, it's very easy to flip the camera to vertical while keeping the flash upright.
