I purchased two AE2 headphones, one for myself and and another for my brother who are both hard of hearing to use with bluetooth wireless headsets for watching tv and listening to internet radio.
Although some may indicate the limited bass sounds is a negative, for the hard of hearing this along with good mid and high ranges is ideal creating excellent clarity and sound separation.
The headphones are very comfortable and well built.

Wanted the headphones to watch DVDs on long plane trips. Thought that Bose would reduce the background/plane noise we hear with our existing headphones. While the quality of the sound from the Bose headphones is good it did not block out any more background noise than the ones we already have. We are returning these for a Bose upgrade.

Very lightweight and the cupping keeps the outside noise down without pressure around the ear so you can wear these for a long while. I like the way the ear pieces fold so you can pack the headphones semi-flat in a bag.

I have had these headphones for a few years now, and they still sound like the first day I got them. Clean and crisp sound, nice bass to the music as well. Purchased primarily for use while working out. At first I was a bit concerned about the around ear design but found them to be extremely comfortable. They stay put while on stair master or tread mill. My first impression was that the sound did not have the robust tone as some of the other head phones I've owned. However the more I use them the more I like them including tonal quality which I would describe as smooth.

Very nice, Love the way they fit, very comfortable. Solid built, and sound fantastic. Worth every penny. Only negative I have to share about them is that you cant really fall asleep like them on... I used to just use Apple earbuds, and would fall asleep listening to music with them in, but these bose headphones are not comfortable to lay down on, if you lay down on your back and not side theyre fine however. Other than that an awesome product!
