Dance Class For The Actor is a two-part series dedicated to teaching actors both the basics and more advanced dance techniques. The first part includes topics such as warm up, exercises for building rhythm skills, balance & flexibility exercises, strength training and a jazz vocabulary of 20 basic steps. In addition, there are 25 commonly used dance steps that are used for everything from disco to cabaret.
The second part of the series is concerned with additional warm ups, isolation study, full stretch, flexibility exercises, strength training and center exercises found in jazz and modern dance. And, there are even more dance steps that encompass more advanced area of dance such as Latin, waltz and top-hat and kick.
