Designed for working professionals, for whom high-speed performance is essential, Kingston's 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Ultimate 600x will satisfy even the most demanding shooter's needs. The card features speed ratings of up to 600x, with read/write speeds of up to 90MB/sec. These lightning fast speeds translate into faster shooting and transfer of files. This CF card can hold up to 28,952 3MP JPEG images. Other compatible file types include RAW and TIFF.
The Ultimate CompactFlash 600x Memory Card also comes with data recovery software. MediaRECOVER 4.0 allows retrieval of lost or deleted files - translating into a saved job and hours of work. This software can also restore corrupted files on Windows and Mac machines. Kingston ensures that this card, like all their memory cards, has been tested, and is in 100% working order. In addition to this quality promise, Kingston provides a lifetime warranty and 24/7 live technical support.
Kingston defines X-speed as the write speed, because users generally care more about how long it takes to write data to a Flash card when using it in a digital camera or cell phone. Typically, read speeds are higher than write speeds for Flash cards, so the write speed is more meaningful when measuring performance. As an example, Kingston's 2GB CompactFlash Ultimate card is rated at 266x; this translates to a write speed of 266 (150 KB/sec) meaning 39,900 KB/sec or 40 MB/sec
MediaRECOVER is a complete digital image and file recovery utility. The program recovers your lost files including photos, audio, video, PDF's, Office Files, tax spreadsheets, etc. from hard drives and removable media used in digital cameras, PDA's and other storage devices

This is a great compact flash card for the money. I have not used it for video yet and that is not why I purchased it. For stills, at a multi-burst rate, it is fast and less expensive than other brand comparable cards. I have stored many shots and am impressed with the speed and quality.
One note, it was supposed to come with a file recovery program on the card but it was not contained on my card. I am unsure if it was omitted as an isolated occurrence and since I transfer to a HD frequently, it did not really matter to me. Since it was supposed to have the program and was absent, I thought other may want to know it.
What is important is the performance. For still shots and for the price, I highly recommend the Kingston card. I have at least one more on my list before my next big photo outing.

Does not work on D800, but works on a D200 fine. Odd compatibility issue but probably Nikon's fault. So provides ample speed and storage than the D200 really needs. It has been working great so far.

I used this product about eight days and it failed. I have some Lexar cards and they have served me well. I have replaced this card with a Lexar.

I used this in my Canon 7d, Moslty for shooting still photography. Worked very good in Continous mode at high speed. Didn't have any problem or delay in writing. I got a 266x card before and it used to take a second to write to card when there are more than 6 shots involved.
I will test this card with Video this weekend and update this review again.

I'm a wedding photographer and use 3 pieces of Kingston Ultimate 600x CF with Canon 7D bodyes for the job. There are never apperars data loss, or error. The cards works fine.
The writing speed seemed too slow in burst mode, so i made some test.
Test#1:
High burst mode, Manual focus, 1/8000 shutter speed. 24 RAW in 8 fps, and slow down. I switch off the camera, what indicates the remaining files for saving. After a calculation, there is 18,6 MB/s writing speed from internal camera buffer to CF card.
Test#2:
h2testw 1.4 memory error and speed tester application. Small, easy, free stuff. After a card format the program starts and write data to card, after that it verifies the written data. I uesed Kingston FCR-HS3 USB 3.0 card reader connected to USB3 port.
All 3 card was error free, in perfect physical condition after half year usage. Approx 20.000 photos/card.
Card1: 15.1MB/s write 65.7MB/s read
Card2: 15.2MB/s write 65.8MB/s read
Card3: 15.4MB/s write 67.1MB/s read
The backup from card is very fast: 3.9 GByte / min.
The writing speed to card is slow: 900 Mbyte / min.
I use fast burst some time, but this writing speed in real life situations is enough for me with the 7D's internal buffer's help.

Comments about Kingston 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Ultimate 600x:
This card is not as fast as the Lexar 600x.
I replaced the first one as it was more like a 200x or even slower. The new card is closer to a 400x, but still not matching my 600x Lexar. I tested them in each of my 5D Mark ii, shooting at exactly the same time, same settings, and the Lexar lasted longer before buffering.
Cheap and it shows

Comments about Kingston 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Ultimate 600x:
This was a nice increase over the 16GB cards I was used too, raw mode shooting lasts a few days of good shooting without running out of memory. Speed is great it keeps up with the burst rates of a Canon 50D without any issues. I always have the camera in high speed mode "just in case" something interesting happens. I've never overrun the card.

While downloading 1,200 RAW photos from a recent photo shoot, the card stopped working. Despite repeated attempts to transfer the photos, the photos will not transfer. I used three different card readers with no success. Considering how much I paid for this card, I would have expected it to last at least once.

Comments about Kingston 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Ultimate 600x:
I shoot with a Canon 5d Mark ll and do a lot of TV set photography. I received the Kingston 32GB Card this afternoon and before the card was used I formatted the card with my camera. I noticed the card showed 999 available shots to shoot and as I was doing my test the camera did not show a countdown of available shots left on the card. I had shot 30 Raw files and the camera still showed 999. I then put in a Lexar 16GB 300X card and the countdown system was working with the Lexar card plus the Kingston card has a much slower write speed than the Lexar 300X cards. I am in the process of returning this card. I do not feel comfortable using the Kingston card on my job assignments and I will stick with the Lexar brand.

I have owned lots of memory cards and I started as a photographer shooting dance and stage, so when it comes to cards which offer size and speed I know a thing or two. This card does precisely what it offers, fully compatible with my 5dmkII (which I doubted for an instant after reading blogs and reviews before buying it). Great card, really.

I needed this card to shoot concerts. It writes very fast and, being 23 GB it holds plenty of pics. It's also a great price for the speed and capacity. I would definitely recommend this!!
