Comments about Benro C-1691 Travel Angel CF Tripod (Trans-Functional) W/B0 Ballhead:
I just tested this tripod and head at full extension, shooting 1:1 macro with a heavy Nikkor AF-S ED Micro 105. Compared with same set-up using my rock-solid Tiltall. Using equal care for both (let vibration dissipate, mirror lock-up and cable release) I could see no difference in image sharpness. I also experienced no image creep from the head. Considering its incredibly small size and weight, I don't know how you beat that.

Comments about Benro C-1691 Travel Angel CF Tripod (Trans-Functional) W/B0 Ballhead:
I am still trying out this tripod and I am not sure if I will keep it.
Pros: It definitely is light weight and will fit in my carry on suitcase and still allow me room for clothes. It seems sturdy enough.
Cons: The head doesn't secure tightly and the camera tends to drift downward. I would prefer clips as opposed to the screw legs as I finds I spend way to much time fiddling with the leg adjustments. As with other reviews, I wouldn't dare to try to elevate the center pole. I also have not figured out how to remove the leg that becomes a monopod. Nice idea though.
The quick release clips are on back order so I haven't yet tried these.

Comments about Benro C-1691 Travel Angel CF Tripod (Trans-Functional) W/B0 Ballhead:
I have used it as a travel tripod and carried it in a backpack. The ballhead is very good and locks-in firmly. The legs a adequately stiff for med. long telephoto lens provided you let vibrations settle a little more than 2 seconds. I needed to put a little strip of tape in top grove of the head to firmly grip Swiss Arca plates. With a little strip of electrical tape the grip is rock solid. One leg can easily be removed for use as a sturdy mono pod and walking stick. Overall the construction seems to be premium for a light tripod & ballhead set.
