This is a great way to get a feel for Epson's fine art papers without spending an arm and a leg on full packs. You get two sheets of each listed paper for testing. For each paper I printed one color and one B&W reference image using an Epson 3880.
I'm giving the pack 4 stars instead of 5 for the simple reason that Epson does not include sufficient instructions! Five of the papers, the four press papers and Exhibition Fiber, are not listed under Media Type in Epson's print dialog. You are also not likely to have the correct color profiles for these papers. For proper printing you must have the correct profile and media type selected, and Epson gives no advice on this.
The profiles can be downloaded for your specific Epson printer from Epson's web site. Unfortunately you have to download and install each individually. But adding the correct profiles does not add the papers to the Media Type menu.
It took me a good 15 minutes searching reviews and blogs to finally decide on the best media types for these papers. For Exhibition Fiber use Premium Luster Photo Paper. For the press papers use UltraSmooth Fine Art Paper. (Don't use those profiles, just those media type settings. Use the correct profile for each paper.)
Most people who own Epson professional printers and who are interested in these fine art papers know enough to muddle through this. But it really should be a lot easier. People who just start printing are likely to get sub par, or even terrible prints on these papers due to incorrect profiles or media type settings.
As for the paper...it is, as expected, excellent. Having already spent a great deal of time on the profile/media type issue, I won't spend more describing the papers. Besides, paper and print quality are something you really should evaluate for yourself. With this pack and reference prints in hand you can better judge the ideal choice for each image and project. I will say that the Hot Press papers and Exhibition Fiber will be rotated into my projects now, alongside Velvet Fine Art and Premium Luster, two papers I was already using.
One last note: try 2880 dpi, at least with the Hot Press papers. Epson printers are so good that on many papers it's hard to see any difference between 1440 and 2880. But on the Hot Press papers 2880 does yield a sharper print.

Needed to test out papers from my senior BFA project. The sample pack was extremely affordable and offers two sheets of each paper so I could test my brightest and darkest images to see how the paper would look in the whole spectrum of the project. I bought it mainly so I could test the exhibition fiber but found that I feel in love with the Hot Press Bright and have since bought a roll of it.

I ordered this pack to feel out the Epson product line and see what kind of paper I would like. I would suggest using this pack for a page of test prints of your favorite images on each type of paper so that you can decide which paper you like for your kind of printing.
For me this was a one-time purchase though- once you know, you don't need this variety again. It's a bit pricey, but the quality of paper is worth it and if you're serious about printing, this is a sound investment. Make sure your printer/ink is compatible before purchase though!

Nice way to try Epson's flagship papers. I wish one more sheet of each was included, and the Ultra Premium Luster feels a little out of place in this pack being the lightest weight and a resin coated medium while the other papers are cotton press and fiber-based.
It also would be nice if an instruction sheet was included that specified the media settings to use in the printer configuration dialog.

All of these papers are absolutely beautiful... The quality between this epson paper and previous papers is very apparent. I use it for mostly black and white photography printed with epson's 3880 and I love the results!
