lIGHTWIGHT -- SHOULDER STARP VERY COMFORTABLE -- CAMERA IS ATTACHED TO STAP SO YOU CAN'T DROP IT AND NO ONE CAN GRAP IT FROM YOU
Used it in NYC and it was great -- space for cell phone, battery and extra SD cards. Live in Washington state and it is just as good for local work and country hikes. Hold my Canon G9 just great.

- The main clip that holds the camera onto the main strap did not fully snap and lock into place. Needless to say, it was not secure.
- The fabric loop holding the tiny tripod screw mount was frayed.
- I also can see how the screw would loosen over a days use and fall out, which is the only thing keeping your camera from smashing to the ground top side first.
- The hand/wrist strap is very uncomfortable. The nylon is not something you want rubbing up against your skin all day.
- The shoulder pad is uncomfortable and cheaply made.
- Overall, a poorly designed strap made from sub-standard materials.

I am very fussy when looking for a good functioning camera bag. I already have the BlackRapid R7 for my DSLR and cannot live without it. When I saw this product I had to buy it. It is fanatasic for my Nikon P7100. Getting 3 in one functional items is great advancement over any other camera bag.

I have recently bought a Fuji X100 and I needed a small camera bag to protect it when I'm not using it. It is a small camera but not that small that it is a pocketable camera.
When I stepped in the superstore, I was really looking for a Lowepro camera bag, but the salesman showed me that Black Rapid also makes camera bags to hold small cameras.
I already own a Blackrapid RS-5 shoulder strap for my Canon 7D and love it.
The camera bag hangs from the shoulder across the body and it's easy to take the camera out and shoot something. This model bag is a very snug fit for the Fuji x100, but still easy to slide in or out. However, I'm not sure if a screwed on filter would make it too big to fit. Also, verify your exposure compensaton wheel, it may turn when putting the camera in the bag, or when taking it back out...
The 2 side bags can hold small things like a spare battery, credit cards and things of that size. It also fits an iPhone, also not sure about phones with larger screens, as the iPhone fits quite snugly also.
In my opinion the shoulder strap is the easiest way to carry a not-pocketable camera. You have your hands free and the camera is still easy to grab. I have already had my moment when the camera slipped from my fingers and I already imagined it smashing to the concrete, but the strap kept it from falling :)

I carry my Canon Powershot G11 and accessories in it. It's a tight fit, but it also holds a case for SD cards, 2nd battery and lens cap (i have an attachment to my G11 which let's me put on filters, eg, a circular polarizer). With the filter on, getting the camera out and in is a bit of a pain, but not too much. The bag makes me more comfortable leaving my camera with the LCD screen facing out.

I purchased this product to hold a Fuji X10 and the bag is a great fit for that camera. Overall, the product is of very good quality, well-made, and the various strap configurations are a handy feature. However, the zippers on the two side pockets come up short, leaving one side of the pocket open ended, and do not securely lock when closed, snagging on clothes or catching items. The poor design and functionality of this feature resulted in my returning the bag to B&H.

This is an excellent product. Black Rapid has created an awesome camera bag for mid size compact cameras like the Canon G12.
There are quick release buckles on the case which is concerning when it comes to security, but they thought of that and provided tailored velcro pieces that thread through the buckles to secure them. This makes the strap difficult to remove from the strap, which is excellent. The camera is secured to the strap, so when you remove it from the case it is still attached to you. The letterbox flap style opening is excellent and one pull on the zip opens both zips and gives you fast access to your camera, which is critical when you need to get that shot.
My only concern with the case is that you have to make sure that you close the zips tightly if there is a lot of dirt, snow etc in the air, otherwise it can get into the case.
I spent 4 months travelling through China, Pakistan and India with my G12 in this case by my side. It houses the camera well and safely and also has space for spare battery, memory cards and the pockets are big enough to fit your passport.
It is an excellent case and if you have a G12 it is the best case for that camera.

I think this is a very smart idea, and squeezes in a Olympus E-PM1 with either of the Pany 14mm or 20mm pancakes, but not kit lens or the Olympus 45mm. (A quick test seemed to show a GF2 would fit as well)
Although a very smart idea, one thing really lacking is any straps at the back to be able to attach extra lens pockets etc. I realise this is aimed at more compacts than mirrorless, but it could have made it perfect if there was some way to carry a couple of extra 43 lenses with it.
The small bag and straps also look a bit more effeminate than I realised.

Wanted a hand strap for my Canon G12, and found this solution from Black Rapid instead.
SnapR + Canon G12 = Perfect match
It is comfortable to wear, and the camera is always readily available from the strap. Tuck it away into the bag if you pass rough terrain.
Saw the SnapR as a chance to test the functionality of the Rapid straps at a budget :-)

Handy small bag for carrying my G12. Plenty of room for extra memory card/battery, and the camera wrist strap (for when not attached to the bag). Also room for a USB cable. Have only had it for about a month, but have been using it almost every day with no signs of wear on the bag (or camera!) Side zip pockets are very smooth, which makes me worry that one may open without me noticing, but I have not had it happen. Only complaint that I have is that with the G12, it is a bit of a tight fit, though I imagine it will wear-in in time.

I've only had this camera bag for a couple of weeks....got it just before a trip to England. So far I have found it to be very convenient. Enough space to add a credit card and a bit of cash so I can avoid carrying a purse, and the camera is very easily accessible....slightly awkward at times, but the camera is easily "freed" once out of the case.

A great alternative to the $126.00 fuji case for my x100 that is impossible to get! I am a big rapid strap fan, and this was an easy call for me at under $50. Protects and is comfortable to wear. I wish there was a way to shorten the strap part that attaches to the camera and it is a tight fit, making access a little annoying for the x100, but overall well worth the purchase.

Ok... I'm a fan of blackrapid and use their products on my DSLR, and this is the reason why I decided to buy one for my wife's point and shoot. The bag itslef feels that its well made as what we've come to expect from Blackrapid. The only thing that bothers me a little bit would be the zipper that opens that main camera compartment. They get stuck sometimes, but this is in my opinion a minor tradeoff for the bag as it very nice...

The SnapR strap has been a great bag for my point and shoot. I carry my Canon G12 in this and really like the security and flexibility it gives me. Sometime I don't want to carry my DSLR around and find that this is a great compromise where before I would have tried shoving the camera in my pocket or just leave it in the car. This makes things easy and I find that I always have my camera with me or at least close by now that I have some way of carrying it with me.
It is well constructed. All of the zippers seem to be durable as well as all of the stitching. It is fully padded to protect your camera. Much better than most point and shoot camera bags I have seen on the market. Light weight and easy to use.

I just used this bag with my advanced point-and-shoot for a weekend photo class. Getting the camera out for shooting is quick and easy, and the camera stays attached to the sliding strap for security. You can leave it in the bag or let it hang, ready to shoot again.

I use the SnapR to carry my G12 around. The side pockets are perfect for and extra batter, cards, and hopefully my 270ex flash (haven't tried that yet.) I love the fact that I cannot drop the camera while it is attached to the SnapR.
