I bought this printer to replace my old, failing ink jet. I picked it because of the price and because it is wireless (unlike my old printer).
Pros:
* wireless is a big plus for me
* easy to set up
* fast to print (once it receives the data)
* durable
Cons:
* it's a bit louder than my old printer
* it's a bit bigger too
* it does not print instantly; it takes 15-20 seconds to receive the data. only noticeable if you are sitting next to the printer.
Overall, I like it and would buy it again. We are using it a lot and have yet to replace the ink.

I bought this to be my default printer and save the ink in my Pixma 9500 for only printing archival photos. I love the compact size and slide out tray for the paper. Unlike other brands, it comes with all the cords and ink required. Setup was quick and easy and the wireless feature allows me to print from my tower as well as my laptop anywhere in the house.
I would give it 6 Stars if possible.
