BlackRapid Ballistic Nylon Women's Strap (Black)
The Ballistic RWS-1BB Nylon Women's Strap from BlackRapid is a lightweight strap specially designed for women. A locking FastenR3 connects the strap to the tripod socket located on either the camera body or the lens. Once connected, the camera hangs upside down, resting securely at the side or in the small of the back, with the lens pointing behind. The strap has a curved pad with a mesh underside for comfort and breathability. The weight is evenly distributed for comfort.

I got this strap to replace the kit strap for my Nikon D7000. Like the idea that it is designed for the female form. I would have given it a 5 star, but am reserving that 5th star to see how it performs with my 70-200mm Nikor lense that weights a ton, and I need for sports shots (without a tripod). I am a bit leary that I may find the camera on the ground due to the coupling... but manufacture sez its strong. So far so good and it seems sturdy.

This will be useful "in the field" as it takes the weight of the camera strap off my neck.
Unfortunately, my Nikon does not have a screwhole in the top of the camera so it has to be fastened to the bottom either in the tripod screwhole or on the tripod attachment. Either way, the strap becomes useless when using a tripod as it has to be removed.

This camera strap is an amazing product! It allows the camera to hang from your side, and slides very smoothly when you grab the camera to take a picture. It makes a HUGE difference if you carry your camera with you a lot, because it hangs out of the way when your not using it. I would highly recommend this product!!!

I was concerned that the tripod mount attachment would not work well but I am pleasantly surprised at how strong and secure it is. I just spent three days in Washington with my heavy 5D Markiii at my side the whole time. I know that I would not been able to handle a traditional neck strap. The only weakness is that it took along time to figure out how to adjust it and it would be nice to have a little more padding in the shoulder area. Overall, I have been very pleased.

The features and functionality of this strap is great. The only thing is that I am petite and there is a lot of slack on the strap after I made the adjustments. There is a way to secure the slack but because there is so much of it, it's still noticeable. The only other thing that kind of bothers me about this set-up is that the attachment is at the bottom of the camera. Which means that even if you un-clip it from the strap, you cannot set your camera down on the base because of the twist on hook. You can set it down that way, but it is not flat on the table.

Biggest issues in carrying a Pro DSLR & meduim zoom lense is shoulder/neck discomfort with the traditional 'neck' style camera straps and the camera bouncing around in front, getting the way of everything.
After some intense research I purchased the RS-W1BB Camera Strap by Black Raid for an upcoming three flying/road trip in outback Australia.
The RS-W1BB arrived in great packaging, was easy to assemble and adjust to my required body length. The strap/fastener was quick to screw into the tripod hole.
Using the camera 'slung' from the side, it was very comfortable when walking, camera was quick to access with my right hand and the camera seemlessly moved along the strap webbing from the side to shooting position.
Two observations: 1. Identifying the correct way to put the padding over my shoulder, as the 'the front' curve pattern wasn't defined sufficiently from the back padding. 2. The actual screw into the camera tripod hole came undone. I guess this is due to the camera bouncing around on one's side with the rotating fasterner.
Overall, the RS-W1BB Camera Strap by Black Raid was extremely comfortable at all times, looked good (subtle), light and easily packed into the camera holster when not using the camera.

I am 65+ and have developed arthritis in my neck, making photography a pain in the neck for my usual setup with a neckstrap. After requesting suggestions from a photo forum, many suggested this strap. I decided it was worth a try. The first day I got it I knew I had found the answer! I wore it with my Canon 50D and the 70-200 lens around the house and loved it! I've used it for several hours now and have found the connection to the tripod mount (my only concern) is just as secure as they promised. It definitely will make photography with the longer, heavier lenses a pleasure for me!

I really don't know why I waited so long to get this...it makes outdoor (or any) photography so much easier. The weight of the camera is distributed over your shoulder so comfortably that you can spend hours enjoying yourself without any undue burden. It takes no time to adjust to using.
