I bought this unit to replace a faulty Yongnuo YN468 that fired about 50% right out of the box. I read many reviews of the Di622 and the new model (Mark II) is even better. It rarely misses "sensing" the built in flash on my Canon T1i when using it as a slave. It comes with a foot, and bag - the only thing missing is a good snap-on diffuser. It comes with a built in one that works OK. I've had the unit a couple of weeks and shot about 500 shots using the hot shoe. The flash has fired every time. The controls are easy to use and I cannot use the highest EV as it's just too bright. Believe me - you can't go wrong with this flash.

One of the feature that is very important to me and is missing in this flash is high speed sync.

Comments about Nissin Di622 Mark II Digital TTL Shoe Mount Flash for Canon E-TTL II:
I am an amateur photographer. Do volunteer photography at church. Not knowing any better I think it is great. I am a bit of a weakling so the flash makes my camera even heavier. Not the flash fault. The photos are coming out better inside the church and I am able to take more pictures at a time. Don't like reading instructions and I got it working without fuss. I learn by trial and error. The only reason I do not give it 5 star is because I do not consider myself knowlegable enough to do so. But I am very happy and would recomend it. The salesperson like always was great. The salesforce is a big reason I go to B& H.

Comments about Nissin Di622 Mark II Digital TTL Shoe Mount Flash for Canon E-TTL II:
I needed an occasional flash for client work. I'm new to flash photography and couldn't bring myself to invest in a Canon Speedlight. Based on the reviews I decided on the Nissin.
So far so great. It's powerful and works flawlessly with my T2i.
Lacks a bit in construction in that it feels plasticy but, with the price you have to cut corners somewhere. BUT, where they could have been a bit more helpful is in the documentation. It's VERY limited and even had a number of mispellings. But, that doesn't take away from it's performance.
Glad I spent the money.

If you are looking for a Canon compatible flash that is just as powefull as the 480 and not quite as powerfull as the 580, (guide number 44 at ISO 100) I would recommend you check out the Nissin DI 622Flash. It is a great product at a great price.

Comments about Nissin Di622 Mark II Digital TTL Shoe Mount Flash for Canon E-TTL II:
I bought this unit to use with my Canon Xsi. Huge improvement over the camera's built-in flash. I like that you can use the flash off-camera. My biggest regret with this flash is the recycle time. Yes, you can save money by buying this instead of the Cannon equivalent, but you're giving up a quicker flash.

Comments about Nissin Di622 Mark II Digital TTL Shoe Mount Flash for Canon E-TTL II:
It is easy to use, versatile, inexpensive, but it is far to weak. It is impossible to get enough light in big halls with a wide-angle, not to speak of outdoor! My good old Metz flashes are far stronger than this Nissin, mostly due to the fact that they always emit in the angle of a 35mm.
Additionally the Nissin does not always find the correct amount of light, with underexposed or overexposed photos as a result. I will carefully inform my friends if I shall recommend them this flash.
