Edwal LFN Wetting Agent is a low foam, liquid wetting agent.

  • Just two drops of super-low-foaming, non-ionic LFN in a pint of developer, will prevent air bubbles and floating dust particles from causing pinholes.
  • just two drops per pint of water for use as a film rinse, will prevent water spots. hanging film will drain evenly and completely.

An LFN final rinse solution for RC(resin coated) prints which are to be air dried by hanging, will promote even drying and cut drying time by about half.

LFN foams much less than other wetting agents, so bubbles disappear in seconds.

LFN is non-flammable, non-corrosive and harmless to photographic materials and equipment.

Comments about Edwal LFN Wetting Agent (Liquid):

Easy, one-shot use, if you'd like - just a few drops squeezed from the bottle - no mixing up and bottling a stock solution. Film dries fast and is always clean. Been using it for decades. Can't imagine going back to Photo-flo.

Comments about Edwal LFN Wetting Agent (Liquid):

I use it with 4 X 5 and 2 1/4 negs. It's as important to me as any other step in the developing process....especialy when I have a large gray sky, when a water mark will show up in the printing. I only use LFN even though many years ago I used to buy Photoflow. However, after seeing a warning or two about using Photoflow, I started buying LFN and will always use it. I really don't know how anyone processing film could do without it.

Comments about Edwal LFN Wetting Agent (Liquid):

I am a big fan of LFN, which I use both in the final rinse to eliminate waterspots, and a drop in with the developer which makes for fewer bubbles and foam, which makes me feel that I get more even development.
