International orders*The XGA-resolution BenQ MX812ST XGA DLP Projector is a powerful, versatile projector with 3,500 ANSI lumens of brightness at a 4,600:1 contrast ratio that renders large, bright images even when you have a fair amount of ambient light to cope with.
The ST in MX812ST stands for short throw, an attribute that makes this projector a favorite of educators. The MX812ST can fill an 81" (2.05 m) screen from only 39" (1 m) away. What that means is more floor space for audience members, less interruptions and less chance of you being an inadvertent shadow puppet by interfering with the beam.
But the MX812ST can do lots more than make large bright pictures. For one thing, it can make them all over the world. It's got an international auto switching 100 - 240 volt 50 / 60 Hz power supply and it can project video in the NTSC, PAL and SECAM standards. And speaking of international, its onscreen display (OSD) offers your choice of 26 languages.
The MX812ST is also compatible with most Macintosh and PC resolution / sync rates and of course it does 720p, 1080i and 1080p high resolution. And those high definition signals will stay in pristine form from the source to the projector thanks to the MX812ST's HDMI v 1.3 input. With all of those input possibilities you'll appreciate Quick Auto Search, which finds the live input and selects it automatically. The MX812ST also projects Closed Captioning from sources that provide it. Other convenience features include Freeze Frame and a "Q?" Hot Key for FAQ.
The MX812ST makes beautiful, vivid pictures thanks to its Texas Instruments DLP DMD (Digital Light Processor Digital Micromirror Device) imaging panel with BrilliantColor. These millions of microscopic mirrors operate so fast that they can project one image for each eye, making 3D in your home and office a reality. You bring the 3D glasses and programming. Your projector is ready to bring you everything from fantastic scientific visualizations to stunning 3D movies. BenQ was the first company to use BrilliantColor technology in its projectors. It makes all of its magic while drawing a maximum of 419 watts. In Standby mode it draws less than a single watt.
This projector also has four picture modes for PC and A/V inputs. The modes there are specialized for brightly lit rooms, presentations, viewing photos and watching movies plus two user modes that allow you to save your own picture preferences.
The BenQ MX812ST offers seamless support for your original LAN control setting, whether it's Crestron, PJ-Link or SNMP. It also comes with a built-in projector network control system uniquely designed by BenQ for your convenience. All it takes is a LAN cable to set things up!

Comments about BenQ MX812ST XGA DLP Projector:
I bought this projector about 2 weeks ago and just used it officially for the first time last night. I was extremely impressed with the short throw distance and brightness. I feel like I don't have the colors quite dialed in yet, but it was really close. Overall, for the price, this is a great projector. Very happy with my purchase.

Comments about BenQ MX812ST XGA DLP Projector:
We purchased this projector for our 30,000 sq ft riding arena. It rear projects on to our 12' x 19' screen with incredible detail and brightness. I would have never imagined a projector in this price range that could more than meet our expectations. A must buy for anyone needing a short throw rear projector onto a large surface where ambient light is a problem.
