"But where will it fit?" is the age-long question when buying all-in-one printers which are traditionally big and bulky. Consider HP/Hewlett Packard's answer to this problem - the ENVY 100 e-All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer. The ENVY is a printer, copier and scanner, all rolled into one sleek and compact unit that is only 4.0 inches high and about 17 inches wide.
The ENVY has a built broad-range wireless 802.11n interface. You can share it with multiple users on your network at home or in the office. It features a 3.45"/89mm touchscreen Color Graphics Display/CGD located on the TouchSmart control panel. The touchscreen CGD enables easy selection, cropping, and color enhancement of photos. Sending faxes, scanning photos for reprints, making copies and printing from the Web are controlled via the TouchSmart panel - without a PC! A built-in memory card reader and USB interface allow you to print copy and scan to or from your digital cameras, memory cards or USB thumb drives.
The innovative ENVY is further set apart from other printers with its compatibility with HP's ePrint. Now you can e-mail an image from your laptop or Smartphone to the printer's assigned e-mail address from any location - and behold - it is printed without any user intervention. No special software or drivers are required. To use this feature, all you need is an Internet connection on a wireless network.
Paper handling is a breeze - the ENVY 100 has an 80-sheet paper tray to handle media up to 8.5 x 14.0"/legal size. The tray extends for loading and then retracts so your printer maintains its sleek style. It has also has an automatic duplexer for two-sided printing which helps cut down on paper usage. The ENVY 100 handles plain and photo inkjet papers, and boasts print speeds as fast as 26 seconds for a 4.0 x 6.0"/A6 photo.

My office is a tray table for my laptop and a small end table for my printer. This printer fits on the small end table nicely, the internal paper tray (80 sheets) and swing-out output tray (that only swings out when you print) keep the footprint small. This thing looks nice too. Speed: not so fast, but acceptable for the vast majority of print jobs done at home. It being wireless cuts down on wire clutter and setting it up was very simple. It prints on both sides of the paper too.All of the above is really nice, efficient and good looking but the nuts on the sundae is that this printer has an email address. Got a smart phone or a Tablet? Just email an attached document, memo, article or pic to the printer from any device that can send email, and it will print it! I have not put photo paper in it and printed a picture yet, but I understand that the prints turn out ok, but lack definition due to the two cartridge system this printer uses.I almost forgot: this thing is quiet, I mean real quiet! Finally: Thanks to B&H for having an excellent price [...] -I will definitely do business with them again.

My Envy told me it needed new firmware, and then locked up while installing it. I spent two hours on the phone with two very polite gentlemen in the Philippines who pretended to know what they were doing while obviously desperately reading documentation.
It was clear they knew nothing about this device, as they "instructed" me on how printers don't have their own Internet connections and therefore cannot download their own updates. When I told them the printer could still accept jobs by email, they laughed and said that email is for computers, not printers. Thanks, guys.
They finally told me it was a hardware problem, and they would send me a refurbished printer to replace my brand new one. So yes, it's a sleek-looking device, but looks aren't everything.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard ENVY 100 e-All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer:
So far this has been a great printer! I've owned it for about 2 weeks and have been impressed with the ease of use and overall "sleekness" of the printer. I have been most impressed with the following features:
1)Wifi Setup: The wifi setup was very intuitive. My printer was on the network and ready for use in less than 10 minutes after removing it from the box. My network has MAC address filtering enabled so I had to enter the printer's MAC address prior to the setup. The printer provides all of it's network settings, including MAC address via a printer status report that's very easy to retrieve directly from the printer's touch screen panel.
2)Airprint Compatibility - I was able to print directly from my iPad and iPhone immediately after the wifi setup was complete! I was skeptical as to whether or not this would work but both devices immediately found the printer and was able to print wirelessly to the device! Very impressive!
3)HP ePrint - You can literally print to this printer from anywhere in the world from any device that has internet connectivity. You simply configure an email address for your printer - which is very easy via the HP ePrint website. You can even configure who you allow to print to your device. You have a choice of "everyone" or you can enter a list of "approved" email addresses. Simply amazing!
So what don't I like about the printer. Well, the printer's touch screen flips up when printing is active. However, and this is my only gripe so far, the touch screen does not return to the closed position once printing is complete/documents are removed. In my view, the touch screen should always return to the closed position. No big deal but it's a little annoying.
Overall, this is an amazing printer and I would definitely recommend it.
Update: I've read on some of the reviews that the printer will lock up after receiving an HP firmware update. With that being said, I have chosen to reject any update from HP. Your choice but I'm happy with the current performance so I don't need an update. Good luck with your purchase!

I wanted a printer that would work with my Macbook Pro and this one does the job. I can print from anywhere with the wireless connection. I haven't tried printing from my ipad yet. Looking forward to doing that. It copies well and prints both blk/wt and color nicely. I think this printer is worth the cost.

The printer is very stylish but I was looking for a portable printer with ePrint capabilities. The printer weighs 17 pounds so it was not what I was looking for and I had to return it to B&H. [...] I would recommend B&H as their prices are great [...]

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard ENVY 100 e-All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer:
I am a student, so my print load can be very heavy. I am also an iPhone user who was sick of emailing things to myself to be printed. I hate having to worry about ink levels in four ink cartridges because, honestly, I don't print many photos. I live in a dorm, so obviously space is VERY limited. I wanted to be able to print on both sides. I wanted to be able to print notecards. I needed a working scanner.
Basically, I knew exactly what I wanted. I couldn't believe it when I found it in the HP Envy. This is the most incredible printer I have ever owned! It's easy to use, looks great, and functions easily and fantastically!
Obviously, one of the greatest features is AirPrint, which was easy to set up and use, but it's great to have HP eprint, too.

Great printer for smaller jobs. Best use as a home office printer. Jury is still out on how long the print ink cartridges will last. They look a bit small. All my computer's and iPad's can now print wireless to the Envy 100. So far I love the printer. Will take some time to see how thirsty it turns out to be. Replacement ink cartridges seems to be where the money is in printers. You can buy a new printer for less than double the cost of new ink cartridges.

What can I say, I want my office to look good and function!?This did the trick. We set it up in just an hour and had all three if our computers working. And the best part.... we really can print from out iPhones! Amazing. [...]. Also, we've been scanning old family photos and the scanner it just fine for non-professional use. Oh, and it's really small and slick. Enjoy.

Quality and price are outstanding on this small, compact, all-in-one wireless printer. I use a Mac with Parallels (a Windows environment) and before I couldn't print anything from the Windows side, only the Mac. Now I can print even from my phone no matter where I am. Awesome!

Have had only for a few weeks and my experience is that HP products are not very well made anymore. Bought because it is AirPrint compatible with my iPad, and for no other reason. That works. Duplex printing seems to work with the Mac to which it is wired but is not given as a print option on any other computers (all Mac) on my wireless network or the iPad/iPod. Why?

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard ENVY 100 e-All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer:
This is one of the best printers I've ever owned. It was so easy to set up my Apple products to this printer. It just worked as it should. It prints pretty quietly and I just printed two 8X10 glossy photos from it and they came out great. No big power block on the plug either. The scan DPI is 3 times what my old all-in-one printer had (one reason for the purchase). The only negative is the same comments I saw before buying. The small arm that extends only holds a single sheet of paper (although not every time in my experience and it also prints on both sides of the paper). A great all around home printer for your wireless devices.
