Comments about Audio-Technica Pro 88W Camera Mountable VHF Lavalier System:
I was really excited after reading the reviews for this mic. The day it arrived and I tested it out for the first time, it worked wonderfully- no interference or problems of any kind. I thought, "Wow, this is so great for the price!" The next time I tried it out a few days later (when it was down to the wire and I had a shoot the very next day), it was nothing but VERY LOUD static. It was horrible on both channels. I even got into my car and drove miles away to see if I just happened to be picking up some weird interference, but it was still horrible and filled with deafening static. I returned this for a refund, and although it might have just been a faulty or defective product, I don't want to take the risk again on this mic.

Comments about Audio-Technica Pro 88W Camera Mountable VHF Lavalier System:
I have used this lavalier system for some pretty simple interviews with artists and designers. I have also used it for better sound in the field when working with actors. It is much better when it is used for the sit down interviews. So far, all that I like about it is the fact that it's light weight and durable. The sound quality it picks up is also pretty good. What I don't like is the fact that it seems to only record in mono. It's wireless range is 5 feet at best (without any static or interference), and it doesn't have a way to signal the battery power. All in all... meh.

Comments about Audio-Technica Pro 88W Camera Mountable VHF Lavalier System:
I am a videographer and use this product to pick up audio at weddings. Before owning this lavalier system, I was always trying to boost the audio from the internal mics. Bad idea. These mics have stepped up the game for all my future weddings and I'm thankful I made such an investment!

Comments about Audio-Technica Pro 88W Camera Mountable VHF Lavalier System:
I use this mic with a Canon Vixia HF-S21 (same as the first reviewer) and have excellent results with it. The sound is clear and it's very good at not capturing ambient noise. I have not experienced the issues that the other reviewer has so far.
My only gripe would be that the transmitter is rather large, not always easy to hide on the person speaking.

Comments about Audio-Technica Pro 88W Camera Mountable VHF Lavalier System:
I use this lavalier system with a Canon Vixia hf s21.
Physically separating the audio component from the video component really opens a lot of doors for shooting techniques.
However, this particular system has poor sound quality and performance.
There is a constant humming on all channels.
The signal gets choppy at about 10+ yards.
The microphone pops and cracks with the slightest movement.
