Comments about Apple USB Ethernet Adapter:
Plain and simple. Plugged it in and it worked, no software installation necessary.
I wish it was a little smaller when taking it on the road though.

Comments about Apple USB Ethernet Adapter:
This ethernet adapter works very well on my 2011 Macbook Air. Has been much faster and reliable that wifi, and the driver is included with Lion. Before purchasing the adapter made by Apple I tried to save some money by using a less expensive one made by a third party. This generic adapter was as fast as Apple's but it required installing an additional driver that I believe caused me a few kernel panics, so I stopped using it and purchased the one made by Apple a couple of weeks ago. It has been working without problems. [...]

Comments about Apple USB Ethernet Adapter:
I bought this adapter for an 11" latest-generation MacBook Air after staying in a hotel that offered wired internet...via ethernet cable. Now i can use wireless and wired connections. Just be sure you have a backup ethernet cable in case the hotel "doesn't have extras" or charges extra to rent one.
Plug and play without setup on more than one occasion, just as it is described by Apple. Good, since I find technology scary.

Comments about Apple USB Ethernet Adapter:
Had worked with an original Air with its network adapter...that worked perfectly. This, when used with a brand new Air, had plenty of problems getting on the network dropping connection...every time we go to use it, need to shuffle around USB ports to get one it works in, then hope it gets on the network..
When it works, it's OK...but getting it to work is much more of a headache than previous models!

Comments about Apple USB Ethernet Adapter:
Plugged my ethernet cable into the adapter and the adapter into my MacBook Air. Instant connection. I've yet to find an Apple product that didn't function exactly as it's supposed to and without any difficult setup procedures. Bonus points: it looks nice, too.
