The Cartoni Smart Head is a nodal head that can be used on a tripod as a fluid head, an underslung head hanging from a jib arm, or as a crane for table-top shooting. To aid seamless camera movement, the head has an extendable main pan bar, a short front pan bar and counterweights for balance on the main pan bar. In addition to true fluid modules and precision cranks for balancing the camera, it is equipped with 3 drag settings in both pan and tilt mode and a zero drag for freewheeling.
The quick-release sliding camera plate, positive locks, and 2-level bubbles allow quick and efficient detachment of cameras from the system. Having a maximum capacity of 11 lb (5 kg), the Smart head is compatible with any tripod head and is ideal for videographers.
