The Elinchrom Quadra Snappy lives up to its name by quickly wrapping around the Quadra pack and fastening with camera bag type snap-locks. The open design adds minimal weight while offering full access to controls. The Snappy requires the shoulder strap that came with your Quadra.

It appears to be a weak point in the design especially when the shoulder strap connects to the pack resulting in the weight of the battery resting entirely on the plastic snaps. the snappy simply takes that concern away.

Comments about Elinchrom Ranger Quadra Snappy:
This is a nice product to protect your quadra pack. Fits on easily and allows the straps to be out of the way of the lamp cable.

Comments about Elinchrom Ranger Quadra Snappy:
It's useful, but the case blocks access to the charger socket. It should also come with a shorter strap so that I can hang the pack on the stand as a weight.

Comments about Elinchrom Ranger Quadra Snappy:
This is a nice case for Quadra pack. However, they could've done two things better. One is to design so that you can charge the battery without removing the snappy. The charger socket on the battery pack comes right under the nylon strap. (You can still force to connect the charger, but a [$]product should've been designed better.)Another is that, it should include a short nylon strap so that I can hook the Quadra pack on a knob of a light stand just like you do with sand bags.Other than that, it's a nice thing to have.

Attaching the strap to the hooks on the Snappy feels a little more secure than using the flimsy feeling hooks built onto the Quadra system. Easy to put on and remove to change out battery packs.

Nice way to carry the Quadra but does not include a shoulder strap - or mine did not. Seems still that Elinchrom makes you purchase this but seems like it will work well if/when I figure out a shoulder strap...

Comments about Elinchrom Ranger Quadra Snappy:
This is a well made accessory for the Quadra battery pack. It's a shame that there is a need for it, but I'm grateful that Elinchrom was aware of that need and did something about it. I would highly recommend the addition of this to your lighting kit

Comments about Elinchrom Ranger Quadra Snappy:
I think that this product is a necessary item to more securely carry and protect your investment. However, I think it's too bad that you should have to buy this item in order to have a proper and secure way of carrying your Ranger Quadra power pack. Without this item, I believe, you run the risk of dislodging and perhaps permanently damaging the connection between the unit and the battery.
The connection between the battery and the pack is not super-strong and is also easy to misjudge and possibly not properly connect, causing the battery to fall out.
Somehow, through it all, I still really like the power pack. I reiterate that I feel the "Snappy" is a necessary investment that should have been included with this unit in the first place which is why I give it 1 STAR.
