The American Dynamics ADD600DVDV100 Intellex Digital Video Management System (1 TB) is a 16-channel system for medium-level video surveillance application that comes in a desktop version with Deluxe package and can record up to 240 ips at 4 Cif. With the American Dynamics ACC (Active Content Compression) technology, images can be compressed into files that are one-ninth the size they would be if compressed with MPEG-4 technology.
Designed for use with 4:3 monitors, the user-friendly GUI of Video Management System allows you to easily manipulate the powerful screen controls. In addition to this, tabbed screens, adjustable sliders, and pull down menus can be easily accessed using one-click button. You can set dome presets, patterns as well as configure them from the desktop control.
The IntelleCord function enables you to record videos for events that trigger an alarm, enabling you to save space on your hard drive. You can program the system to record only those events you need, and set triggers for alarms (generated electronically within Intellex) based on any motion, someone crossing a perimeter, changes in light intensity, and even specific motion exceptions. Besides, the IntelleCord allows you to configure the settings for each camera on the system for optimized security and record duration. The system can stream video from multiple cameras simultaneously; it allows you to configure specific types of events and cameras as email triggers.
With the smart search feature, the Digital Video Management System allows you to easily search for video clips. For example, only video recordings pertaining to the trigger fired when someone crossed a certain area or a light was turned on can be retrieved, when required. You can transfer recorded footage to an external source such as a recordable CD, DVD, network drive, or a USB flash drive. For enhance security, the system allows you to save videos or images with a unique identification stamp which proves useful when recordings are required on CD for legal or official purposes.
Video can be streamed from multiple cameras simultaneously and then controlled on the screen like a virtual matrix using CCTV keyboard-based camera controls. The video management system supports up to 20 simultaneous client connections.
