The Ikegami FieldPak 2 Hard Drive is a compact removable HDD for use with Ikegami's HDN-X10 Editcam HD and DNS-33W cameras. Captured media can be edited using industry leading editing systems including Avid's DNxHD software program. Included with the drive is SAT-PakTools software which will enable metadata insertion and clip formatting in preparation for editing.
The drive utilizes SAT (Smart Acquisition Technology) for fast and reliable image and data transfer during the shooting, recording, and editing process. Designed for durability, the FieldPak 2 Hard Drive can withstand extreme temperature ranges and also incorporates a patented Shock Suspension System to shield drive components from impact and vibration.
The FieldPak 2 Hard Drive goes directly into the camera and when placed in a SAT adapter (SAT110, SAT210 or SAT310) can be connected to the editing workstation via USB or FireWire.
