Comments about Microboards PWBD-206 Playwrite External Blu-ray Recorder:
I ordered this to archive footage from my Mac Pro. Using the USB connection I was unable to get a complete project burn and wasted several discs trying to isolate the problem. The computer couldn't communicate with the drive. It would for about 8% of the burn, then nothing. Contacted Microboards for support and they said Mac "technically doesn't support Blu Ray". I ask only this: Why does it say for Mac in the description then? Don't waste your time or money if you're a mac owner. Get the Lacie equivalent that comes with Toast.

I use it to print BD and regular DVDs. It was plug and play all the way. It even came with all the cables! This B&H recommendation was right on.
