Comments about Alesis DM7 USB Five-Piece Drum Kit:
How can you recommend a product if support isn't great? I bought this product early February 2011. We had a problem with the module a month after and sent it for repair - was told that item could not be fixed and was referred to the parent company and was told that I will be notified by early June for a replacement. Bottom line - 2 months of no-replacement is too long for a brand new product. Product is no good unless you can use it.

Comments about Alesis DM7 USB Five-Piece Drum Kit:
Pretty nice electric kit. It seems you have to mess with the settings like sensitivity and volume to get things the way you like them.
Works great once you spend the time with the settings.
Kit is good for practice and playing along with recorded music.
All kits are stereo , so if you want to line out to an amp you have to edit the kit's pan settings so it is mono. There is no mono out it's all tip/ring/sleeve stereo cables. It's all set up for stereo out to a PA.

Comments about Alesis DM7 USB Five-Piece Drum Kit:
I was looking for an inexpensive set that I could play around with and learn the drums and so far I have been very happy with this set. [...] it was an easy set-up. Sounds great and it's a lot of fun to play with. Comes with a set of drum stick [...] and the software that comes with it only registers a few of the drums unless you pay for the full version.

Comments about Alesis DM7 USB Five-Piece Drum Kit:
First off, the DM7 is my first electric kit. And so far, its awesome. The sounds are decent, and I can feel myself becoming a better drummer already.
As for B&H? They rock! I got my order fast and in great condition. I was skeptical at first, but man, B&H really came through!
