The Aspire TimelineX AS1830T-68U118 11.6" Notebook Computer from Acer is an ultra-slim 11.6" notebook computer with a wide 16:9 aspect ratio LED backlit display. Designed with all-day computing in mind, the TimelineX's energy-efficient design allows it to operate for up to 8 hours on a single charge.
The system is about an inch thin when closed, and weighs a scant 3.1 pounds. It is perfect for almost any computing task, including e-mail, school work, financial management, and entertainment. Its multi-gesture trackpad and comfortable keyboard make the computer a joy to use.
The system is powered by a dual-core 1.46GHz Intel Core i7-680UM CPU, which can be overclocked to 2.53GHz thanks to the Intel Turbo Boost system. It boasts 4GB of RAM, a 500GB 5400rpm hard drive, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, 802.11n Wi-Fi, an integrated 1.3MP webcam, and Intel GMA HD graphics. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
