You can also view the images of the cameras on select 3G smartphones such as Windows mobile, Symbian, and iPhone.
You can view the images from 8 different cameras simultaneously on 8 different portions of the screen and enlarge them by clicking on any of them. With a 400TVL resolution and 11 infrared LEDs, the 4 cameras offer high-quality images up to a distance of 30' even in low-light conditions. The DVR, with the motion activation feature, records only useful data and save space on your hard disk. It prevents false alarms by blocking out areas with constant speed such as roads and trees.
Using user-friendly icon-based interface, you can access all the features of the DVR.A particular video from the database can be found using a video search option that can further filtered using time, date and event of the video. Comments about Night Owl 8-channel H.264 Video Security Kit w/ 8 Night Vision Cameras (500GB HDD):
I still didn't install this system, just tested it quickly. First impressions are that cameras should have a bigger viewing angle since this is narrow to cover one room with one camera. Maybe it needs adjustments, but IR was on if light is just a bit lower then direct sun light and it gives unnatural colors...

Using in a restaurant. Owner is able to watch restaurant at home. Video is good quality. Running the cables is a hassle, but easy setup other wise.
Getting it to run over internet is really technical and tech support has to make an appointment with you days later to get it to work. Tech guy was kind of rude. Happy with the product over all. Still having problems with dvr staying connected with internet.
