The MCR-040BR puts your favorite music sources within easy reach. It's got a CD player, an FM radio, USB and mini jack inputs for portable audio devices, and a dock on top for an iPod. You can control all these functions with the handy card-sized remote control. The iPod and USB device charge both while in use and in standby mode. What's more, it has both a clock timer and a sleep timer.
Both the amp and speakers are designed for high efficiency and performance, which were planned and carefully tested for best audio integration. So the sound is bigger and better than you expect from components of this size.

I had in mind buying a Bose component having already one in the living room. But, but I like giving a chance to others when possible, being, in fact, very curious generaly in life... I'm glad I did! I'm quite satisfied. It is a great buy. Very, very satisfied! Perfect with my IPod touch.

I've had a Yahaha mini system for 20+ years with no problems, so I'm a big fan of Yamaha quality. This system looks great, comes in pretty much any color and delivers great sound. The best part is that it has an iPod connection up top AND a CD player unlike most on the market which are one or the other. You can keep the speakers beside the main unit if space is tight, or stretch them out across the room as the cables they provide are quite long. Lastly, you can't beat the price either.
