The Bosch LTC 8782 Code Translator (Biphase to Sensormatic RS-422) translates the received Bosch Biphase code to the corresponding commands in Sensormatic RS-422 protocol, allowing Biphase controllers to control the Sensormatic receivers. It provides 4 independent outputs along with full Pan/Tilt/Zoom code conversions.
The Code Translator can be programmed by internal switches for supporting "group" sizes of either 256 or 99, for allowing either Sensormatic variable or two fixed speed code, and for offsetting the Biphase addresses to 1 of 32 Sensormatic address blocks capable of supporting up to 256 cameras each, whereas in large systems, 32 translators can be used to support up to 8,192 cameras.
Removable screw terminal blocks are used for input and output connections. Front panel LEDs help to monitor module performance by indicating the data received, data transmitted, and power status. The LTC 8782 Code Translator receives power from a 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz power supply, and comes in an EIA 19” (48 cm) rack mount adaptor that can carry up to 3 units.
