Marshall Electronics AR-VM1 3G-SDI Signal-Supported Professional Audio Monitor
The AR-VM1 3G-SDI Signal-Supported Professional Audio Monitor from Marshall is a rackmount audio monitor designed for professional broadcasting applications. The unit has a standard 1RU chassis that fits in any standard equipment rack. It has a pair of 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs, as well as 4 pairs of unbalanced AES/EBU inputs and outputs. Up to 16 channels of audio can be de-embedded from the selected SDI input. You can also downmix a 5.1-channel surround signal to a left/right stereo signal to support ISO/IEC 13818-7 and ARIB STD B-21 standards.
The AR-VM1 has a high-resolution LCD display that shows audio levels, a VU meter, status indication, and input video display. It has integrated speakers as well as a 1/4" headphone jack for convenient monitoring. It has a GPI connector for remote control, and also offers front panel button illumination for working in dim environments. It operates on 10-18VDC power via the included power supply.
