This just makes good sense. If one flash isn't quite strong enough for your fill outside you can use as many as three flashes. Quite the perfect little helper.

Great, it's low profile makes it great to use it inside a softbox, I can have more than one flash inside the softbox and with the power low in all flashes the recycling time is faster than using one at full power.

I was initially told that the Tri-Shoe Adapter would work with Nikon's SB-800 flash, but not with the SB-900 as the latter's shoe was too big. When it arrived, I fitted both of my SB-900s (and an SB-800) in each of the three shoes and found that they fit perfectly. The locking pins fit into the hole provided in the shoes and keep the flashes securely mounted. This adapter also fits my LumoPro 120s and another off-brand manual flash with no problem by using the flashes' screw-down collars.
Compared to some of the other options, this adapter is a tremendous value!

This item is just what I have been looking for. It's size is perfect so you can keep a small footprint in an umbrella setting. It keeps the flash group tighter and is less cumbersome. The build is solid and it was more sturdy than I expected. I do wish it had some type of locking device for items placed on it. I use Pocket Wizard TT5's with it. So I end up using the thumb screw wheels on the wizards to ensure they stay in place. Oh by the way you can use three full size Canon flashes with three TT5's and they all fit on this unit. Just barely!!! It is simple, well built and works perfectly.

This is a very well made adapter. I bought it to use with three Nikon SB800 flash heads, the only complaint that I have is that you must remove your extra batteries (5th battery). Other than that it is perfect. Great product.
