The Teac CDRW890 CD Recorder is a CD player and recorder that allows you to record onto CD-R or CD-RW discs from master discs. This recorder is user-friendly and includes digital and analog inputs on the rear panel, so you can connect units like a CD player or cassette deck to the recorder.
Manual adjustment of the recording level is available for your recording and either manually or automatically separate the source audio material into individual tracks. If choosing the manual track sequence, you can pick the sequence of music you want to record.
This quality CD recorder also functions as a programmable CD player, letting you play back music titles and tracks in shuffle mode or by pre-programming a sequence of your choice. The repeat option can be used either for playing back the entire disc or just one section of the disc in a loop.
The headphone jack on the front panel and IR remote lets you easily operate the unit for both recording and playback.

I bought it as a replacement for a similar devise that went bad after much use. I am pleased with how easily it burns CD's. People to whom I have sent these disks are very happy with how they work.

Comments about Teac CDRW890 CD Recorder:
It records great playsback great, easy to set up, the manual is very easy to understand.plenty of rec. volume, I use it mostly for live music. but there is one little annoying thing, if you need to turn it off for any reason you will have to wait 2 to 3 minutes befor it will come back on, the first time turn on is ok. I recommend it for any one.

Comments about Teac CDRW890 CD Recorder:
The only complaint i have with this unit is it doesn't recognize silence between tracks when copying CD's or Tape to CD. This presents a problem when at the radio station but for home use its top notch . i would recommend it and hope that TEAC finds a way to fix the only glitch i could find .

Comments about Teac CDRW890 CD Recorder:
I installed this unit in a university so students could record themselves in a recital hall. It is straight forward and simple. There aren't a bunch of setting that have to be figured out, just plug and play. There isn't anything extra.
