The TrimPac14 is a NiCd (Nickel Cadmium) battery pack. The size and shape of the TrimPac14 was developed in close collaboration with major camera manufacturers. The thin, flat and lightweight design matches the rear dimensions of virtually all-modern full-size camcorders creating a very integrated and minimum envelope package. The TrimPac14 can operate a 25-watt camcorder and an on-camera light for up to 1.5 hours.

Needed a good affordable on board battery in a pinch after one off my Dionics died. This Trim Pac 14 fills the bill! It powers my JVC HD GY-110 for a solid two hours or more and will get me by until the Dionic Fairy comes;)

Comments about Anton Bauer TrimPac14 Nickel Cadmium Battery:
I have shot video in the field for 17 years now in a Production/ENG capacity. These batteries are great in terms of weight and they tend to last about 2 to 2.5 hours continuous and up to 4 hours if you are conservative and shutting the camera down in the field when not in use. I have even lasted a whole (8 hour)day on one battery. I primarily have been using these TrimPacs with a Sony DSR300 DVCAM camera. They are definitely worth the cost and I consider them sufficient and dependable. Great purchase.

Comments about Anton Bauer TrimPac14 Nickel Cadmium Battery:
It's a great battery, slim and light weight. However, I've come to find out that the DIONIC 90 has x2 the life in 1/2 the weight for just over x2 as much. So if your planning on needing 2 or 4 of these I think it'd just be better to buy 1 or 2 of those. I'm about to buy one to try it out.
If all goes well I'll be switching out batteries far less than I do now and carrying less with me too!
