I've used Cakewalk products on and off since an early DOS version in the 80's. X1 Producer, is by far the most refined version of all, including other brands. They really did a great job of streamlining work-flow. I am convinced that the bakers who designed and developed this product have actually used it! Tons of great plug-in's and samples are included, and the integrated Pro-Channel compressor, eq, and tube pre's are fantastic! Great bang for the buck, and the nerve center of my studio rig.
