The Bosch LTC 8300/90 Allegiant Matrix Switcher (32 Inputs / 6 Outputs) offers full matrix switching capability that allows the systems to be programmed, either manually or via independent automatic switching sequences, to display the video from any camera on any monitor. It comes in a compact single bay construction.

Programmable with up to 60 sequences that can use SalvoSwitching, which allows any number of selected system monitors to switch as a group. The sequences can run independently in either forward or reverse direction. Based upon the time of day and the day of week, sequences can be made to automatically activate and deactivate, by using the optional LTC 8059/00 Master Control Software package or the LTC 8850/00 Graphical User Interface software package.

Any Allegiant model can serve as a master or a remote satellite switcher that allows design of a distributed matrix video switching system to be centrally controlled at one location, and individually controlled at the local sites. The SatelliteSwitch feature of the LTC 8300/90 Allegiant Matrix Switcher enables a single system to communicate with remotely located "Satellite" systems. Satellite sites can view/control only cameras connected with their own site while the main system can access up to 256 cameras located anywhere in the system. Connections to on-site receiver/drivers are easily made by using the integral signal distribution ports. The onsite receiver/drivers offer PTZ (pan, tilt, and zoom) control, multiple pre-positions, 4 auxiliaries, auto-pan, and random scan.

The LTC 8300/90 has a built-in operator priority level, and supports full programming functions and variable speed operation of AutoDome Series dome cameras. The LTC 8300/90 Allegiant Matrix Switcher also supports operations using Bilinx communication when used with an LTC 8016 Allegiant Bilinx Data Interface unit. Using an external contact closure or logic level, any camera can be automatically activated by the built-in alarm interface capability that can be set to display a 16 character alarm title instead of the camera title during alarm conditions. Alarm interface has 3 response modes in the base system - basic, auto-build, and sequence & display, with the option of combining any or all 3 modes. It includes a black outlined 48-character OSD (On-screen Display) for camera number, camera ID, (16-characters), time-date, an icon to identify controllable cameras, monitor (12-characters), status information, and over 235 characters for programming camera ID and monitor titles.

Enhanced programming and switching features can be obtained by utilizing a Windows-based PC and the optional LTC 8059/00 Master Control Software package or the LTC 8850/00 GUI software. Spreadsheet format allows you to program camera sequences, install lockouts, enter camera and monitor titles, program of operator names and priorities, 64 timed event actions, change system parameters, and access the advanced alarm handling screens. The programmed information may then be stored on the Allegiant system or a disk, or printed out directly from a printer connected to the PC.

The LTC 8850/00 Bosch GUI software uses on-screen icons to display real time status, and monitor sequence events, system alarms, switching functions, keyboard actions, and video loss information. It also provides the ability to enable an onscreen indicator for identifying controllable cameras. Providing powerful macro capabilities, it allows macros to be activated using system time event functions, alarm activations, Allegiant Series keyboards, and via special function icons.
