The Bosch DSA-N2B40-96AT iSCSI Disk Array is a scale-out network storage solution that supports a maximum of 12 x 1 TB SATA-II hard disk drives, and comes with 6 shelf expansion units that supports a maximum of 84 x 1 TB hard drives. Being a fully featured RAID-protected disk array, the DSA-N2B40-96AT provides RAID-4 protection for capacity-oriented environments and RAID-DP protection for availability oriented environments.

For scaling out, the DSA-N2B40-96AT Disk Array allows you to connect up to 6 disk shelf expansion units. Features like battery backed-up non-volatile RAM (NVRAM), and the NetApp’s RAID-DP technology integrated with the Write Anywhere File Layout (WAFL) prevent data loss even when two drives fail. The disk array is equipped with redundant hot-swappable power supplies, cooling fans and 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports. Additionally, the disk array provides complete data protection by offering protection from double-disk failure and single bit errors during RAID rebuilds with RAID-DP. It offers a maximum bandwidth up to 400 Mbps with a maximum of 256 simultaneous iSCSI connections.

The DSA-N2B40-96AT iSCSI Disk Array offers full compatibility for SNMP version 1 agents as well as with MIB-II (Management Information Base) and NetApp custom MIBs. The SNMP, e-mails (Autosupport Mails) or HTTP (HTTPS) messages are generated in the event of component failures.

With the help of Web GUI administration tool, the DSA-N2B40-96AT iSCSI Disk Array offers central management. In addition, the array has a powerful Command Line Interface (CLI) that is accessible remotely by telnet, ssh, or rsh.
