The Bosch DVR-8K-050A Divar MR Digital Video Recorder (8 Channels, 500 GB) is an all-in-one CCTV management solution that combines advanced digital recording and multiplexing. You can view and remotely control PTZ cameras, handle alarms, and check device status through the DVR interface. The DVR offers high-quality, real-time digital recording, and is ideal for surveillance in places such as shops, schools, apartments, and hotels. A low profile unit, the Divar MR can be mounted on an EIA 19" rack.
The Divar MR DVR has 8 video input and output channels for high-quality, real-time digital recording. With 500 GB internal memory capacity, the DVR can record hours of high-quality footage in MPEG-4 file compression. Recorded video can be transferred to any compatible storage system via the USB 2.0 connectivity.
The DVR has a flexible interface for several connections, including the Ethernet 10/100BaseT network connection and up to 16 alarm inputs and 8 outputs. The embedded design ensures adequate security, without the need for software and antivirus updates.

- Internal DVD Writer and USB Connectivity
- The internal DVD Writer allows you to copy recorded data onto removable media (DVDs). With USB connectors both in the front and back, the video from the DVR can be archived to a flash drive or any other similar device. The USB connector can also be used to plug in a mouse
- MPEG-4 File Compression
- MPEG-4 file compression format. Since this format offers adequate file compression without compromising file quality, the DVR storage capacity is optimally utilized
- CIF, 2CIF, or 4CIF Resolution
- Offers a variety of resolutions to choose from depending upon specific requirements. The 4CIF resolution, for instance, would be applicable when detailed imaging of every part of the field-of-view is needed

- Video from the DVR can be viewed on a PC running a web browser such as Internet Explorer. While live footage can be viewed in the browser, recorded video can be viewed in an Archive Player on a PC without any additional software

- Supports controlling the PTZ (Pan, Tilt, and Zoom) functionality of Bosch and third party cameras

- Provides up to 16 different alarm inputs. Up to 60 seconds of pre-alarm recording is offered. Email notifications can be sent when specific events occur

- Provides videos with higher levels of security. It is more effective against network attacks than most of the traditional systems and has a lower maintenance requirement. The embedded software also eliminates the requirement of installing software patches and anti-virus updates
