Give yourself an advantage over the enemy with the Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930. It's designed with an adjustable, memory foam-lined headband that's attached to soft, noise-isolating ear pads. The adjustable microphone cancels out unwanted noise and automatically mutes when you rotate it out of the way. There are on-ear audio controls, as well as programmable G-keys, which give you control over music, voice morphing, etc. Being wireless, you can move up to 40' away and still be in range. Logitech has integrated a Dolby technology 7.1 surround sound feature into the headset. The laser-tuned drivers deliver authentic audio and you can even tweak the audio settings to your exact specifications. Adding amusement to your gaming experience, the G930 even features real-time voice morphing, which can make you sound like a troll, mutant, alien, giant, cyborg or space squirrel.

I use these headphones everyday while I work for music. I also use them when video editing. Battery lasts forever! used it for 9 hours strait and it still had an hour left so they do perform to what Logitech says. The sound is amazing with the 7.1 surround its like your in a theater the bass is really awesome to, its just boomin. The mic is loud and clear. Use it with teamspeak. Overall awesome headset!

I'd like to say first that I bought this headphone because I'm playing a solid 3 hours a day of World of Warcraft, and as a raider the freedom of the wireless and having the microphone to my mouth (instead of a desk microphone) was primordial, and on that note it delivers splendidly.
I also watch movies and television shows, and thought the surround would certainly add depts to them, and on that note it does not deliver at all. For plain stereo sound, if you enable the surround, it actually produce a rich sound, but from a surround source, it's better to let the headphone on "default" stereo sound, as if the Dolby Pro-Logic processing of surround sound is completly off. I will admit I would have absolutely love to hear sound as if it was surround, but contrary to two dozens reviews I've read, I cannot detect the direction of the sound, it just sound stereo with a dispersion effect (if I can explain it this way).
The headphone itself is little, although kind of bulky. The leathery contour of the ear is soft and it really blocks the outside sound (closed ear-cup). After 30-40 mins of use though, you really start to feel the temperature raise, more so during the summer. The way the plastic ears pivot to give better comfort makes noise while you move your head, so try to be static to completly forgive you have headphone on your head. The bass is rich yet not sloppy, I listen to alot of techno, and it beats my old Accoustic Research headphone.
The electric charge indeed holds 10 good hours, don't have to worry about that. And as many have read, the voice modifier is only real good with one of the six offered (space squirrel). The other G-keys I don't personally use as the default use for them can't be configured for my personal video/music player.
All in all it's really the surround sound not delivering at all that made me give 3 out of 5 stars. I've been warned surround sound couldn't be delivered thru "stereo" headphone, even with Dolby support, and it is true. So was it worth 100$+ without the surround? I would say no. Unless you absolutely need the wireless aspect of the headphone, and don't care much for surround sound, I would suggest you to buy the Logitech G35, which is pretty much the same but for less. or go with another company altogether...

Comments about Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930:
For the price of these, I expected a super-luxurious set of wireless headphones. What most may not know about these is they don't function like headphones. They'll port sound to the headset anytime they are plugged in whether or not they are 'on' so to use your speakers, you need to disconnect these from your PC. Not an overly big deal but a major inconvenience when you swap between the two often. Sound is good/great, nice features & software, but Logitech's tech forums is littered with G930 problems so these are far from refined. My set actually malfunctioned with the hardware so I needed to send them back. This happened 3 days after I received them. They are being replaced via Logitech. I found my ears sweating after extended use and the top would cause pain on the top of my head even with the 'memory' foam headband. 2 stars cause I think these are only worth about $50, problems right off the bat, and poor PC function.

I use this for gaming while the girlfriend is over doing work with the TV on. The noise cancelling isn't perfect, but works quite well and the overall sound quality is outstanding. Haven't played with the mic yet. Would be cooler if it worked with the Logitech Unifying receiver. The sound does crackle one and awhile but it isn't frequent enough to warrant a complaint.

Comments about Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930:
I've been using the G930's for a few weeks now and so far have been very happy with them. I primarily use them for gaming and voice communication. I was previously using the Creative WoW wireless headset, and these are much, much better in most regards.
The Good:
-The build quality is very solid. Rather than the plastic slide guides you adjust the size with on the Creative set (both of which snapped on mine within a year), the G930's are metal and feel pretty sturdy.
-They sit comfortably but don't weigh my head down.
-The sound quality is quite good, though not really any better or worse than Creative's offering.
-They are a bit more compact than Creative's Headset, which felt quite bulky.
-The assignable G keys are great to assign a Push-to-Talk key to so you can continue a conversation while walking around.
-The battery time is excellent. I've run them on wireless for 6+ hours at a time without plugging them in without them dying. As a plus, the battery is also replaceable on the user's end when it inevitably won't hold a charge anymore, and Logitech provides documentation on how to order a replacement when the need arises.
The Not So Good:
-The mic's output is not as good as Creative's headset. The voice output comes out a tad bit more "tinny" sounding.
-Logitech's software doesn't play too nice with Windows 7 x64. I ran into some weird issues with Mumble (VoiP client). Five minutes on Google and I was able to get it fixed, but this type of issue should have been fixed on Logitech's end a while ago.
-The 7.1 surround is nice for movies and single player gaming, but is not great while gaming and using VoiP simultaneously. Speech just sounds weird with it.
Final Thoughts:
I really like these headphones so far, and have recommended them to a few friends who were also quite pleased with them. With the exception of the Win 7 issues listed above, installation was a breeze and they've worked flawlessly. The few shortcomings I found warrant the 4 star rating rather than a 5 star rating, but if you are debating the choice between these or the Creative WoW headset, these win hands down.

I bought this product to use for VOIP and for listening to music on my laptop.
Comfort is good and I like the total ear enclosure - partly because the units I am living in are being renovated and have the noise level of a motorcycle gathering. For VOIP I get much better clarity than any other earphone I have used and those I am talking to have commented on the clarity of my speech. On the downside I don't know where the claimed 40 feet reception comes in - much less is my experience.

Comments about Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930:
Comfortable fit.
Sound is great for my needs.
More importantly, it works with Win-7.
Areas of improvement:
Auto shutoff needs to be an option. This currently is incredibly annoying. The power up/down button is way too small (minor detail but the user interface is important). I would like to be able to feel the button to turn it back on when auto shutoff shuts it down.
A lot of ambient noise can be heard. Much cheaper headsets have done a better job of blocking ambient noise.
Bug (IMO): Tray icon stays lit after headset powers off. False indicator.
Final note: There are not a lot of players in Wireless/USB/Win-7-Compatible/Gaming headset arena. To remain competitive in the future as more come online, I would like to see some improvements made to this product.

I used this product for about a week before I became fed up and returned it. While the sound quality was nice when the headphones worked, I would get constantly disconnected from the wireless receiver no matter how close I was to the dongle or which USB port I plugged it into.I tried changing the wireless channel on my router (which was in another room)and moving both the headset and receiver to different areas of my office but was unable to stay connected for more than 15 to 20 minutes without the all too familiar disconnect beeping.I also received severe static distortion in the game Dead Island whether I was using 7.1 or 5.1.[...]

Comments about Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930:
I love these headphones. I got them a few months ago and quite frankly, they've been the best thing ever. The freedom of wireless is just great. Although I wish the range were a bit longer, the sound quality throughout the range is just fantastic, with only the occasional digital noise interference right at the edge. They're comfy for extended wearing and have a lot of bass if needed.
The only reason I'll give them a 4 / 5 is because they seem to work differently on each computer. Getting them set up was such a big hassle, I was considering returning them. On one computer, they needed to be plugged in through a powered USB hub and on another they only work if they're directly into the USB port. That and it seemed to take hours of playing around and uninstalling/reinstalling the software to finally get it to work properly on both computers.
The only other downer is that they do not include a 35mm jack, but that doesn't matter as I'm mostly using the PC anyways in places where I'd like wireless audio.
Overall, they feel sturdy but are comfy and I hope at the price we pay for them, they last a long time.

I have been gaming for 6 years and been through 8 headsets 4 of witch were wireless. Hands down the Wireless Gaming Headset G930 by Logitech is the best. The mic does not play back ground noise. The 7.1 is wonderful and the add G keys for push to talk is great! I'm sold if this brakes I'm buying another.

Excelent sound, the mic is great, they are confortable and they look good
BUT
Dont buy them if u wish to have extraordinary 7.1 sound because u wont be satisfied... Its ok but its not a home teather.
A carrying case should have been included in the package from logitech because this headset seem too have a weak point right over the earcup where it rotate
And dont forget... The wireless is awsome :D it have enough range to easyly cover a small appartment and thats nice

Excellent head set. The fit is comfortable, the audio quality exceptional and the ability to move around throughout the house and still hear my music is very much worth the price. A benefit is that no one else can hear what's playing so it doesn't disturb others. The only down side I've noticed is that it seems to cut out when the microwave is turned on. Not sure why that is, but it's a small inconvenience only. One other thing that would be good is if it came with an adapter so that I could use it with my ipod.

I bought this headset, not for gaming, but mostly for VOIP applications. So far, no issues.
I bought this because I also wanted a top notch headphone set for music. This fits that bill too.
My only issues are minor applications of "how it works". They are wireless, but the design is such that a base plugs in to computer (via USB), so you still have that wire connection.
Also, if you take off and set the headset down while powered on it times itself out and powers off pretty quickly (and I don't see a setting to configure that time out).
Overall, I really like the headset. there are just a few quirks that I find a bit annoying.

Just received Headset last week, and I really enjoy it..
I wish it could work with my other speakers at the same time.. You have to unplug USB to go back to regular PC audio speakers.
I guess you could do in control panel too.
