The Mace MaceView SQ160 DVR with 4 Bullet Cameras (16-Channel, 1 TB) consists of a 16-channel MVR-SQ160 DVR and 4 MVC-IRVB-4 IR bullet cameras, thus making it a complete solution for indoor/outdoor surveillance applications. The MVR-SQ160 DVR is based on embedded LINUX and uses a high performance embedded microprocessor. It comes with a 1 TB Seagate SV35 HDD (expandable to 2TB). Supporting resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 pixels and frame rates up to 30 fps, it offers high-quality video. Recorded videos can be easily viewed in high definition by connecting the DVR to a TV, monitor, or VGA/HDMI display. It also supports synchronized audio recording. With pentaplex operation, the DVR allows you to view, record, playback, backup, and remotely control the system simultaneously. Dual stream encoding optimizes network transmission. Videos can be remotely viewed on smartphones based on the Windows Mobile, Symbian, Blackberry, iPhone, and Android platforms, as well as on the Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers. Multiple locations can be managed using the Mace VMS multi-client software. H.264 compression helps reduce video file sizes without compromising on image quality. The MVR-SQ160 DVR offers automatic e-mail notification in case of user-defined alarm events. Recordings can be continuous (24/7), scheduled, or can also be set to begin on motion detection or alarm detection. The MVR-SQ160 DVR detects video motion and video loss, and offers camera locking capability. Videos can be searched based on event, time and date parameters, and can be viewed with full playback controls.Privacy masking (4 zones per camera) allows you to exclude certain spaces within a selected area from triggering motion based recordings, thus helps in saving storage space. The SQ160 DVR offers full support for on-screen point-and-click PTZ control for Mace speed domes without the need for any extra PTZ controller. Video backup can be remotely downloaded or can be done via the included USB port.Each of the 4 MVC-IRVB-4 SQ IR bullet cameras comes with a 1/3" SONY CCD sensor, and has a 4mm focus-free fixed lens that offers wide-angle viewing. It supports resolutions up to 420TVL (color) and has a weatherized vandal-resistant compact housing. A night-vision range of 15m coupled with a minimum illumination of 0 lux and DSP technology ensures clear images in bright light as well as in complete darkness. Infrared switching automatically switches the camera between color and b&w modes as per changes in ambient lighting. The camera’s adjustable bracket allows it to be easily mounted on to a wall or ceiling. The MVC-IRVB-4 cameras draw power from a 12 VDC power supply.
