Wind diffuser* good outside with low wind will not remove strong wind, Strong gust or cross winds. But it does help soften wind distortion & allows one to hear people speak. voluminous, be careful windscreen is not in shot.

I bought this item for my stereo Azden SMX-10 I use on my Sony HDR-FX7.
I works as advertised. I had to video tape in wind outdoors all day and I had no wind noise on the video at all. I am very happy with the Softie Windscreen. I had wind noise in the past with just the foam windscreen that came with the mike but now I have only the sound associated with the video and no wind. A
great product at a good price.
