These Leak Insure Protective Absorbent Sachets for Underwater Housings (10 Sachets) are designed to absorb minor leaks in underwater camera housings (and other underwater equipment). Each sachet (3.54 x 1.57"/90 x 40mm) contains fast-acting granules that absorb 400 times their own weight in water (absorption capacity is 40ml/sachet). When placed in your underwater housing before a dive, a Leak Insure sachet can buy valuable time to get to the surface and save your camera if the housing starts to leak.
Not only do they absorb water from leaks--they also absorb moisture from the air in your camera housing. This helps reduce condensation forming on the walls of the housing and, more importantly, on the camera, lens and housing port. Leak Insure Sachets can be re-used if they are dried after use. These standard-sized sachets are suitable for DSLR cameras and larger video camera housings.

Works great and reduces fog. I bought for that purpose and have not tried to see how much water they will absorb but my fogging issues are in the past!

Perfect, because I ran out of the starter ones on my first 2 divetrip.
Sadly I just realised after purchase, that all 10 Sachets are just in this 1 container. The container is just too big to carry withm me to each dive, so I can recomend, do not throw away the selflocking bag (or get one flat drybag - sendwichbag also works) to carry with you just a few pieces and not the whole container

Great for your underwater camera housing. Can handle minor leaks and also keep your housing/ports from fogging up (in warm humid locations).
Note: If you have a leak, you need to terminate the dive. They have their limitations
