I have used 2 different Monostat monopods and I love them both. The swivel foot on the bottom is really useful. A monopod is an essential tool for me on a video shoot. They are much more portable and great for shooting in documentary settings. The only downside is that when twisting the part to extend or close the monopod, it can occasionally be difficult to turn, but it's not a huge deal.
