From Manhattan LCD comes the Sony Battery Plate for HD071A, HD089B/C & HD8900/10/20 Monitors. This presents a convenient a way to use your existing Lithium-ion batteries to power one of the aforementioned LCD field monitors from Manhattan LCD.
The plate has a built-in voltage regulator that steps up the voltage from your 7.4V battery to run the monitor at 12V. A low-battery indicator tells you when it's time to change out the Li-ion battery.
This plate is compatible with Sony L/M series batteries. The manufacturer recommends using at minimum 5500 mAh batteries with this plate: 5500 mAh will last 3 hours, and 7200 mAh units will last 4 hours.
