The Benro Travel Flat A0180T 4-Section Aluminum Tripod is a solid support for a DSLR or point & shoot camera, with a maximum load capacity of 13.2 lb. The tripod features a two-section center column that can be removed for low-to-the-ground shooting: Simply attach the head directly to the 3/8"-16 screw of the magnesium-alloy chassis.
With the two-section center column attached and extended, the tripod reaches a maximum height of 61.4". The non-rotating leg design ensures that you can set up the tripod quickly and easily at a moment's notice.
When it's time to fold up, the lightweight aluminum legs of the A0180T fold down flat – somewhat like three fingers on your hand – thanks to an innovative chassis design. The included custom carry case snugly fits the 17.3" folded tripod & center column, with room for a head (not included). For travelers and campers, this compactness can make all the difference.

Comments about Benro Travel Flat A0180T 4-Section Aluminum Tripod:
I bought this tripod with long day hikes and travel in mind. The ability to be folded flat and short, along with it's light weight, make it ideal for that. It's easily stowed in luggage or stashed on the outside of a day pack.
While the construction thus far seems quite durable, there are a couple of things I don't like about the design. The simplicity of the design doesn't allow the legs to spread very far, and that to only one position. Despite it's small size it is impossible to get a mounted camera low to the ground for macro and other images. The lack of leg spread is detrimental without at least one section of each leg extended somewhat: at minimal extension, there just isn't enough spread to keep the tripod and camera combo stable.
That said, in most shooting situations, the Benro Travel Flat tripod does what it should; namely keeping your camera stable and wobble-free. But if low level macro images or big tele lenses held up 6 feet of the ground are your needs, you will want to look elsewhere.
