The Benro Travel Flat C0190T 5-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod is a solid support for a DSLR or point & shoot camera, with a maximum load capacity of 13.2 lb. The tripod features a two-section center column that can be removed for low-to-the-ground shooting: Simply attach the head directly to the 3/8"-16 screw of the magnesium-alloy chassis.
With the center column attached and extended, the tripod reaches a maximum height of 63.8". The non-rotating leg design ensures that you can set up the tripod quickly and easily at a moment's notice.
When it's time to fold up, the lightweight 8-layer carbon fiber legs of the 1.8 lb C0190T fold down flat – somewhat like three fingers on your hand – thanks to an innovative chassis design. The included custom carry case snugly fits the 16.1" folded tripod & center column, with room for a head (not included). For travelers and campers, this compactness can make all the difference.

Comments about Benro Travel Flat C0190T 5-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod:
I love how small this packs up and fits in or on the side of most camera bags or packs. I use the Benro B0 ball head and the combo weighs in at 2.2 lbs. This is perfect for traveling.

Comments about Benro Travel Flat C0190T 5-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod:
I ordered the tripod because it rated it's load carrying capacity as 13.2 lb. It carried less than half of this weight, however, I found the vibration excessive and did not settle down for a long time. The design is unique, flat folding, but it looses stability with this approach.

Comments about Benro Travel Flat C0190T 5-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod:
This is a great tripod for traveling and hiking. I wanted something that would fit in my Jansport laptop backpack which I use as my travel camera bag. This fit perfectly even with my Gitzo ball head attached. It's very quick to set up and is very lightweight and compact. Exactly what I needed. I heard people say that the best tripod is the one you have with you, and with this one I'll never have a problem keeping it on hand.
My only negative thing to say is that it's not very stable with telephoto lenses or in windy conditions (even with standard lenses). It did hold my Olympus E-510 with a 70-300 telephoto just fine, however if you even breathed on it, it would vibrate. Even with my stock 14-42 lens it shook in heavy wind conditions. There is no hook to attach weight to it due to the way it folds flat. But honestly, there has to be a trade off somewhere. I found the stability to be more than adequate for almost all of my shooting, and I effortlessly was able to carry it with me everywhere I went.
One last note, it does come with a center column to give you a little more height and fine tuning abilities, but I haven't used it. The tripod comes to eye level (for me anyway) without the column and I thing it would reduce the stability further. However, it's there if you need it.

Comments about Benro Travel Flat C0190T 5-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod:
This is a beautifully made extremely light-weight tripod that's supposed to hold up 13+ pounds. It certainly packs and carries like a feather and sets up quickly but I wouldn't use it with the included extender unless the camera and lens weighs in at under 5-pounds. It will hold a heavyweight rig but tends to wobble at the slightest vibration with that extender in place. I tried it with a seven-pound (camera plus telephoto) and it's just fine as long as you don't use that extender. This tripod is the best one I've found for hiking and its low comparative price is icing on the cake. If you use it for what it's intended for, you can't go wrong.
