The Bosch UML-172-90 Color LCD Display Monitor (17") comes with a liquid-crystal TFT color LCD screen panel and delivers high-quality images at a resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 (500TVL) with accurate colors. It features analog RGB mode, a digital DVI input, and an HDMI input for using PCs and digital video units in security applications. It offers a high contrast ratio of 1000:1, a high brightness level of 300 cd/m², and a viewing angle of 160 x 160° (H x V), and can automatically adapt to the input resolution of the incoming video signal.
With the picture-in-picture function, the UML-172-90 Monitor can display two pictures in one frame, and also allows any composite video or Y/C input to be inserted into the RGB/DVI/HDMI input display, thereby enhancing the multi-input capability.
The fluorescent backlights ensure a consistent brightness level by avoiding luminance degradation on the monitor to deliver sharp images, so that you can use the monitor for a longer period without eyestrain or excessive fatigue. You can also implement the trigger warning mechanism with compatible CCTV video camera via the trigger signal input function.
Dot crawl is reduced using the 3D Comb filter to ensure a sharp picture with less noise. De-interlace circuitry converts interlaced video, such as common analog television signals or 1080i format HDTV signals, into a non-interlaced form. While multi-language OSD (On-screen Display) offers intuitive and convenient interface for easy operation, the front panel can be used to make any necessary OSD adjustments and disables the front-panel buttons to prevent tampering.
With the auto-switching feature, the LCD monitor can automatically switch to and display an available input signal. It includes VGA input for DVR or PC applications, 2 composite BNC inputs for composite video inputs, and loop-through outputs.
The versatile designed LCD monitor can be mounted on a desktop, wall, or rack, and is suitable for use with analog video, digital video recorders (DVR), and PCs.
