The Tripp Lite 3U External Battery Pack & Cable (Rack, Expandable, 2-Point Connector) extends the battery runtime of compatible Tripp Lite UPS systems when used along with a 48 VDC external battery connector. It is compatible with Tripp Lite UPS systems including SMART1500RMXL2U, SMART2200RMXL2U, SMART2600RM2U, SMART3000RM2U, SMART5000RT3U, SMX5000XLRT3U, and SMX3000XLRT2U, and offers a battery lifespan of 4 to 6 years.
In addition to a steel construction, the External Battery Pack features a heavy gauge cabling with a high current DC connector that offers easy installation. It supports stacking, upright tower and rackmount applications in a 3U rack space. Multiple battery packs can be connected in a daisy-chain configuration. A blue 175 A male DC connector is used for connection with the UPS system. Using output connectors, multiple battery packs can be connected in a daisy-chained configuration for extended runtime.
