The Tripp Lite External Battery Pack for UPS System (192 VDC) extends the battery runtime of compatible UPS Tripp Lite systems when used with a 192 VDC external battery connector. It offers compatibility with Tripp Lite UPS systems including SU12000RT4U, SU12000RT4UHW, SU16000RT4U, and SU16000RT4UHW, and offers a battery lifespan of 4 to 6 years.
In addition to a black steel cabinet construction, the External Battery Pack features a heavy gauge cabling with high current DC connector that offers easy installation. When used with the optional 2-9USTAND, the battery pack supports upright tower installation and can hold up to 2 battery packs in this configuration. It also supports stacking, upright tower and rack mount applications in a 4U rack space. The maintenance chassis is equipped with 4 lightweight (40 lb / 18.14 kg) single-user replaceable battery modules.
A detachable 16” (40.6 cm) cable with UPS specific DC connector is used for connection with the UPS system. Using a set of input/output connectors, multiple battery packs can be connected in a daisy-chained configuration for extended runtime.
