Denon's POA-A1HDCI Ultra Reference 10-Channel Power Amplifier has the flexibility and uncompromised performance you need to power your audiophile home theater system. The POA-A1HDCI features a monoblock design with discrete power amplifier construction for each of its 10 channels to eliminate any possible between-channel interference. This THX Ultra2 certified amplifier delivers a whopping 150W per channel for stunning sonic depth and detail. Pair it with the Denon AVP-A1HDCI preamp/processor to create an unbeatable surround sound or multi-room system. Each amplifier channel also features A/B speaker outputs that allow tremendous flexibility with sophisticated multi-zone installations in addition to bi-amping capability, along with the control link connectivity for seamless configuration and switching via the A/V controller.
Four massive main power transformers plus eight individual transformers supply current to each channel for punchy, dynamic sound. The rugged chassis features direct mechanical grounding that eliminates microphonically induced distortions, along with extensive shielding to prevent mutual interference between individual amplifier channels and low and high power circuits.

- Power Amp Assignment Function
- The AVP-A1HDCI is equipped with a power amp assignment function capable of taking efficient advantage of the POA-A1HDCI's power amp to support a variety of situations in the listening environment. Since the 10 speaker terminals can be freely assigned to any channel, the combination of one AVP-A1HDCI and a POA-A1HDCI permits the enjoyment of home theater entertainment in a variety of environments. The front channels can also be used as a bi-amp, or as a bridged connection for higher power output through a single channel. You could also purchase two POA-A1HDCI power amps to bridge-connect 10 output channels that would let you enjoy incredible dynamism on the level of a movie theater
- Ease-of-Use
- Control link allows the POA-A1HDCI settings to be made. With the POA-A1HDCI, it is possible to switch among XLR, RCA, and off for the input signals, and among bi-amp, normal, and bridge for the types of output, for each channel. The POA-A1HDCI is also equipped with a control link to enable communication with the AVP-A1HDCI. When the POA-A1HDCI is used on its own, switches on the rear panel are used to change the settings
