The CorelDRAW Home & Student Suite X5 Software from Corel is an illustration and photo editing program for Windows. It gives you the tools necessary to create web graphics, T-shirt designs, logos, flyers, and more. You can also use it to edit photos -- even RAW images from professional digital cameras.
Fourteen design templates, 1300 pieces of clipart, and more than 140 OpenType fonts will make it easy to design just about anything. You can quickly find content via a built-in search tool. Video tutorials and tool tips are included to help you get started.

I used Corel quite a bit about seven years ago. The versions I used were Corel Draw 9, 10, 11 & 12. My description of Corel draw is that it gives me the ability to freely create, adjust and change images in just about any way I want. I like especially the ability to cutout images from pictures and can change your work to vector images, which illiminates pixilation.
I can now also prepare projects such as Christmas cards for family and friends for printing using CMYK so as not to have compatibility problems with the printery.
I have also found the tutorials, video and written, most useful.
