International orders*Singular Software's PluralEyes for Final Cut Pro is an indispensable addition to video post-production workflows in which audio was recorded separately from the camera, or when sound from multiple cameras needs to be synced up for editing. This is especially useful if you're shooting DSLR video and want to record professional-quality audio on portable recorders (such as the Zoom H4n or Tascam DR100). Whether you use a slate or timecode--or nothing at all--for reference, once you import the video and audio into Final Cut Pro, the PluralEyes plug-in will compare the external audio to that recorded by the camera and automatically sync the two together. No more fussing and tweaking and squinting at waveforms--not only bringing better organization to your production, but saving hours of precious time.
| System Requirements |
OS X 10.4.11 or later Final Cut Pro 5.1.4 or later Both PPC and Intel processors supported Notes: 1. Because updates to Final Cut Pro can significantly change the interfaces that PluralEyes uses, we can only officially support the latest update of each version (currently 5.1.4, 6.0.6, and 7.0.3) 2. PluralEyes requires Final Cut Pro and does not work with Final Cut Express or iMovie. |

Comments about Singular Software Inc PluralEyes for Final Cut Pro:
Is there anything more time consuming than manually having to sync your video to external audio? Of course there is, but with PluralEyes you can now spend your valuable time doing those other things!
PluralEyes does everything it claims, has tons of options and saves time in the post-production process. Even though we still keep a running camera log (just for safety), since purchasing the product we have not needed to use it once as PluralEyes does all the work.
This is an essential tool that will help save time and keep the project moving forward. I literally set up the queue right before I leave for the day, hit the sync button, leave work and when I come back in the morning, everything is synched and ready to go.
Now the only question is, what will your intern do with all this extra time? Clean your car, pick up your dry cleaning, play in traffic? The sky is the limit!
Sincerely,
A satisfied customer sitting in an unsatisfactory cubicle

You do not need PluralEyes to adjust and synch sound in FCP x version. There is a perfectly suitable sound synch facility within the FCPx version.
Didn't find out until I had bought it and started to use it :-(

This single piece of software now allows me to shoot 'double system' sound with my Canon XH-A1S.... (hdv audio is highly compressed), and a Tascam DR-100 portable digital recorder and sync them up on FCP with no hassle!
Worth the price on the first job I did... !! Highly recommended!
This allows you to get higher quality audio with the high quality video of the Canon XH-A1S.. ( or any camera for that matter)

After watching a 5 minuet tutorial on youtube on how to use this software I have to say it is going to save a ton of time. I tested it with multiple clips and audio tracks in the same sequence and it worked like a champ.

Using Plural Eyes for syncing multicamera shots and separate audio. As long as I don't do stupid things, it just works!
KISS is a great philosophy, and with a no fuzz user interface, it's just great.

If you're using external audio (Zoom H4N) with the Canon 7D, Plural-Eyes is a must! It will save you hours in post...not to mention eliminating the clap board.

Whoever invented this is not human.
This product ia AMAZING!!! It syncs any number of cameras absolutely to the FRAME! I hate editing multicameras because I have to sync every time the camera stops and now I can't wait to shoot a wedding with 150 cameras all at once lol!
There is no settings. Just click a button. YOU MUST SAVE YOUR PROJECT (SAVE AS) BEFORE launching PluralEyes. Load your raw footage and save. Then open Pluraleyes and sync It's that simple.
The thing analyzes your footage's audio including external audio from a let's say, an mp3 player or anything you throw at it.
Depending on the size of your project it can take a while naturally.
I don't know how people can live without this product.
HURRY UP AND BUY IT!!! DON'T THINK TWICE. It just works. There is also a full 30 day trial fully functional. I know for sure it works for Sony Vegas and Final Cut as bought it for both.
This is the best thing ever especially for wedding receptions where is difficult to control what camera is filming and what's not. From now on, the rules of continuous shooting have changed. My videographers can do whatever they want and stop filming at anytine as much as they want to to save tape and it will be a piece of cake to put all that mess together with a single button like it was a continuous footage.
I emailed my friend, he bought it. When he saw what this can do, he jumped so high that he accidentally knocked something out due to excitement. You will do the same thing.
