Comments about Denon AH-D1100 Advanced Over-Ear Headphones:
Absolutely love these phones. They are very comfortable (something I cannot say about almost all other phones I've used over the years) and the sound fidelity is fantastic. A bit bassy but not something I worry about. I can wear these things for hours and not have the 'smashed ear' feeling I often encounter. Would recommend them to anyone who wants great sound reproduction and comfort

This is a good set of headphones for around $200. I find that the sound quality is excellent for all ranges. I typically listen to classical, rock, and jazz and am very impressed with the sound.

I use these headphones for video editing and listening to records. The sound cancelation works great and the sound is always crisp, even at the highest volume. These headphone come with a leather carrying bag and an extension cable (which is nice considering the headphones have short cable).

Amazingly light, wear them comfortably for long periods of time. Fidelity is great. My only concern is that the cord is very lightweight and I'm wondering how it will hold up over time

Excellent headphones. Purchased them to use with our video equipment and they work well. Also use them to listen to music while at work. They do the job and live up to all of the reviews I read prior to purchasing them.

Comments about Denon AH-D1100 Advanced Over-Ear Headphones:
These headphones are perhaps the most understated headphones i've ever seen. Their not very flashy and have a bit of a quirky look when sitting on the head. it also has a gigantic headphone jack that protrudes way out of your device. but you forget all about those issues when you start listening to them. the audio that these headphones produce simply oozes with quality. They accurately output the whole frequency giving good bass without sacrificing other tones. not much more I can say other than I love em'.

Comments about Denon AH-D1100 Advanced Over-Ear Headphones:
I'm a sound designer so, I know about headphones and own more pairs than I should from inears to Graddo's to Beyer DT770's (which is my go to headphone). I was looking for new portable can's for the winter (aural ear warmers) and picked up the Denon 1100's and I love them. Great frequency response, the 50mm drivers are super fast and yes they have bottom end to spare. Running from my Iphone 4 with the volume slider at 3/4 gives plenty of volume to mask the noisy subways. A big essential tip. Out of the box the phones are really bass'y and they require some burn in time. Don't judge them too fast. At about 100 hours they really sweeten up the bass evens out and the highs mellow. I really love them, they're not "flat" by any means but, they are a fun engaging set of headphones. Pair it with an amp (I prefer the Leckerton amps) and it really shines but, is not necessary
