The Griffin Technology PowerJolt Micro For iPad offers a quick way to charge your iPad, iPod, iPhone and other USB-chargeable devices while on the move. The PowerJolt is a 12 V car charger that delivers 5 V DC @ 2.1-amps and 10 W. This is the required power necessary to charge your iPad. However, you can also quickly charge your iPod and iPhone. If you have the right cable, you can pretty much charge any USB-chargeable device. The included dock cable can also be used to sync your iPad, iPhone or iPod with your computer.

The plug that fits into the car outlet is poorly designed. In one of my car's outlets, it doesn't reach far enough to activate the power, and therefore it doesn't charge the phone. If that's not irritating enough, the plug is very difficult to pull out, because there is only a very small area to grip with your fingers.
I'll keep it because it does work in my car's second outlet, and we can leave it plugged in without a problem. But I wouldn't recommend it.

Wanted some way to charge my iPad on the go. Found this very thin and small plug that easily fits in my bag. The plug fits amazingly in any, as far as I tested, "cigarette lighter" or 12v power outlet that can be found in any car. Charge my iPad as well as my iPhone, one at the time. Great!
