My Nikon S80 (from B&H) feels safe when carried in its proper case. When I slip it in, or out horizontally, the lens cover stays where I left it, unlike most other cases which engage the cover, exposing the lens and switching on.
It is nicely made from what seems like soft Nappa leather outer with a padded velvet lining - Nikon quality.
